She was raised in Nashville and has been in Franklin since 1983
In April 2011, Mindy became Executive Director of Franklin Tomorrow, after spending five years as founding editor of the Williamson Herald. As editor Williamson County's local newspaper, she covered news, politics, sports, business and the people of Williamson County in the weekly newspaper, the Williamson Herald.
Mindy is also involved in the Rotary Club of Cool Springs, past president: Sister Cities of Franklin & Williamson County, past board member; graduate of Leadership Franklin, Leadership Middle Tennessee and Leadership Brentwood; former board member.
