Marilyn McAdams

Year began with Franklin Tomorrow: Marilyn served on one of the nine initial task forces as a member of the Environmental Task Force (2002-2003). Upon knowing the value of Franklin Tomorrow, she volunteered by donating her time in taking the Minutes. In 2008, she was elected to the Board of Directors and served on the Executive Committee as Secretary.

Family: Husband Tom is a Realtor with Zeitlin & Company Realtors. Three sons--two went through Franklin Special School District schools. Two sons graduated from BGA, one, youngest son, graduated from Franklin High School.

She was born in Clarksville, TN moved to Nashville at age 10. Graduated from Hillsboro High School in Nashville. Attended Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. She has been in Franklin since 1977.
Marilyn is a small-business owner in Franklin since 1990. Her business is called Ms. Secretary.
She is a Resume Writer & Interview Coach. She provides Administrative Support to businesses, individuals, and non-profits.
Marilyn was appointed to Waves Honorary Board of Directors and a volunteer since 1990. Waves is a 30 -year old non-profit agency in Williamson County helping individuals with developmental disabilities to progress toward their full potential and life as active, contributing members of the community.
She was named Volunteer of the Year for Waves in 2002
