Kristin says, “I would like to see continued participation from the community. Franklin Tomorrow has the opportunity to become a neutral source of information for the public and private sector.”
Family: Kristin is one of six children and the mother of one son. Kristin says, “Luke is my greatest accomplishment. I’m part of a very large extended family living all over the United States and Norway. My grandfather came to America at the age of 8 years.”
Kristin currently lives in Downtown Franklin
She was born in Minneapolis, MN and spent most of her childhood in Florida and Southern California.
Kristin is the Communications Coordinator for the Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health
Kristin is responsible to create and maintain communications with every school in the Vanderbilt system. Their mission it to implement sustainable, scalable health and development programs in resource-limited settings through an innovative, multidisciplinary approach rooted on strong academic research and training, and pragmatic community partnerships. Kristin’s work at VIGH supports worthwhile work and service being done by staff, faculty, students and community members.
Kristin is also involved in our community as an Advisory Board member for O’More College of Design. She has held prior leadership roles for Franklin Special School District, Brentwood Soccer Club, Nashville Ballet, Relay for Life, Williamson County Health Council, Child Advocacy Center, and A Vintage Affair.
