Chili Cookoff

Franklin Tomorrow’s 8th Annual Chili Cook Off, presented by Tennessee Commerce Bank, will take place again this year as part of the fabulous fall festivities associated with the annual Pumpkinfest, to be held Saturday, October 30th. Lisa Gregory is returning as the Chili Cook Off Chairman and will be joined by Co-Chair Chris Cummins, so we are sure to have a fabulous event!
The Chili Cook Off is one of Franklin Tomorrow’s major annual fundraisers and has become a community favorite. It is a must attend feature of Pumpkinfest! As Gregory says, “It involves not only some great chili but all the many community groups, restaurants and individuals who come together at this event as part of their commitment to our City and the work of Franklin Tomorrow.”
This year’s event will be held Saturday morning through early afternoon in a large tent on 4th Avenue. The general public is invited to participate as tasters and judges, allowing samples of the chili entries. Any local organization or group is encouraged to create a team and enter our Chili Cook Off. Contact our office to get more information or an entry form.
The teams enter their chili to win in several categories, including Best Chili, Best Booth Design, Team Spirit and the People’s Choice. This is sure to provide plenty of excitement for all who participate as well as an opportunity to have a great lunch while enjoying a beautiful fall day! Team Registration Form
We are looking for more community sponsors! Please review our Sponsorship Packet. For more information on sponsoring the Chili Cook Off, contact the Franklin Tomorrow office.
Proceeds from this event benefit the programs and initiatives of Franklin Tomorrow, a non profit community organization that communicates a shared and evolving Vision of the future of Franklin and focuses that Vision through education, advocacy, evaluation, implementation and recognition of the Vision’s specific goals and strategies.
